Looking for a strong ASP.NET MVC4 developer to work on a large custom development effort as part of the IMAP-PA project. This is a custom development (.NET, C#, SQL Server) effort to replace an existing legacy system (Sybase, C++). The team is currently developing Release 1 with a production "Go-live" target in the next 6 months. The ideal candidate will work as part of the existing scrum team and will be responsible mainly for the ASP.NET MVC4 development efforts around the exception handling user interface. Highly visible role and with significant impact to the project. A more comprehensive list of requirements is provided below:
· Skills
o Real-world experience with Microsoft MVC 4 and the Razor view engine/markup language (including the capability to construct complex & well-organized Razor code blocks for flexible UI designs)
o Proficient with HTML 5 & CSS 3
o Experience in writing, debugging, & optimizing JavaScript (particularly jQuery, AJAX, & JSON frameworks)
o Experience using libraries/frameworks (e.g., the Microsoft Enterprise Library or Entity Framework) to build/interact with ORM Data Access Layers—including being proficient with LINQ
o Ability to design & implement unit tests that verify code paths in his/her completed work
o Competent in following principles of abstract design to build systems which are loosely coupled to adapt to changing requirements and is willing to follow software design patterns so that code is flexible/extensible
o Experience with SQL Server 2008 R2 and beyond
