Position: SAP Security Analyst
Location: Portland, OR
Duration: 6 Months
Interview Mode : Phone then Skype
General Position Summary:
The SAP Security Analyst which will be part of the Global Information Systems department is responsible for all SAP Security which include ECC, BW, Solution Manager and GRC.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
· Design, build, implement and support SAP security roles and profiles to all SAP environments; ECC, BW, GRC and Solution Manager
· Experience with pulling TCODES from Solution Manager BPML
· Assists with the implementation of GRC processes and modules
· Expert level knowledge of professional standards in SAP Security administration and best practices
· Ability to work independently with internal and external auditors of IT Security Standards
· Develop user acesss strategies and identify SOD and SOX issues and mitigating controls
· Requires analytical, problem-solving, written and verbal comminiction skills
· Ability to take non-technical security requirements and appropriately design and build a Technical solution based on functional specifications
· Provides Ad-hoc query reports to direct report and upper management
· Writes test plans, participates in creating the user rights authorization process and provides SAP security education
· Works with the Service Desk team to provide knowledge transfer, training and assist with related tickets
Requirements:
- Assist functional and technical team members with functional and development authorization and objects
- Perform operational Security administration to ensure team resource balancing and 24/7 coverage
- Understand and participate in decisions regarding non-SAP systems from a Security perspective
- Perform team training as needed
Specific Job Skills:
- Experienced and well-researched on current technology that supports SAP ECC, BW, GRC and Solution Manager.
- In-depth understanding of SAP best practices around all aspects of Security administration
- Relationship-building with counterparts at SAP and other partners
- Excellent knowledge of the SAP implementation lifecycle, ASAP methodology, phased global rollout approach, and implications on Security administration
- In-depth understanding of SAP and non-SAP development tools
- Cultural adaptability since role supports sites and users in other regions of the world
- Team collaborative skills to ensure integration with other project team members
- Ability to read, write and speak English. Excellent organizational and presentation skills and attention to detail required. Mental ability to conduct interpersonal interactions with vendors and other employees.
- Ability to operate independently and follow general guidelines.
- Physical ability to use telephone, computer hardware/software including keyboard, type, sit and stand for extended periods of time.
Experience:
- 7 +years of IT experience required with at least 5 years of SAP Security experience
- Full cycle ERP implementation experience is nice to have
