Requirements Details:
Role: Oracle OPA ConsultantJob Location: Portland, OR. Start immediately. Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining OPA rules for an insurance system. This includes determining requirements, translating requirements into rules / rulesets, testing the implementation of these rules, and maintaining rules in a production environment. Specific duties include: · Review / analyze existing rules / rulesets · Coordinate with SMEs and other project resources to understand rule requirements · Develop and maintain rules· Test and implement rules and rule changes The resource will be professional, collaborative and work well with others. The resource will partner with SMEs, analysts, architects and developers to clearly understand the system and transaction flow. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (include appropriate hardware, software skills needed): · Self-directed with demonstrated professional services and consultative experience · 3+ years of OPA experience · Experienced with the Oracle environment including SOA / middleware applications and key member of a development project with extensive SOA or Middleware dependencies · Knowledge of Applications development lifecycle processes to include Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC); Agile methodology are desirable · Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills applied within a professional services environment · Demonstrated strong design documentation skills and ability to present it to a technical audience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS · Certified OPA 10 Implementation Specialist · Insurance Industry experience desirable · Firm understanding of multi-tier web based application architecture and technologies. · Experienced with the Oracle environment including SOA / middleware applications and key member of a development project with extensive SOA or Middleware dependencies · Fluency in Web Services standards and technologies (e.g., XML, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, UDDI, etc.). Expertise on WS-* standards such as WS-Addressing, WS-Security, WS-I Basic Profile, WS-I Basic Security Profile etc. · Experience with testing tools like SoapUI
