Required Skills
Experience with Unix /Linux platform Required
Experience with SQL, PL/SQL programming (Data Staging running on Linux platform) Required
Experience with Unix scripting preferred (Korn shell, chron tab scheduler) Required
Extensive experience in complete life cycle of Data Warehousing projects providing end to end solutions Required
Experience working closely with supporting teams to develop integrated solutions for Legacy Systems, Web Methods, FTP, etc. Required
Experience and understanding with Data Modeling (Power Designer/ERWIN tool preferred) Required
Experience with Dimensional Modeling with Data Warehouse ROLAP/MOLAP and reporting technologies ( Business Objects, OBIEE, Crystal) Required
Working knowledge of Kimball framework and Methodologies Required
Experience in a Decision Support/Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence environment Required
Familiarity with Agile Software development Highly desired
Working knowledge of OBIEE and/or SAP BO Required

Responsibilities:
• Creating dimensional (star/snowflake schema) data models,
• Maintaining responsibility for global data definitions used in the Data Warehouse
• Performing ETLs and validating results with business representatives,
• Integrate data from multiple source systems into Data Warehouse
• Cleansing data,
• Transforming and loading data in Oracle 11G environment.
• Building ROLAP/MOLAP solutions
• Adhering to standards for the Data Warehouse, including security, archiving, backup and recovery
• Participating in architectural decisions for data transitions from source to staging to ODS to EDW
• Supporting implemented BI solutions by: monitoring and tuning queries and data loads, addressing user questions concerning data integrity, monitoring performance and communicating functional and technical issues.
Knowledge/Skills Required:
• Experience with Unix /Linux platform and SQL, PL/SQL programming (Data Staging running on Linux platform)
• Experience with Unix scripting preferred (Korn shell, chron tab scheduler)
• Extensive experience in complete life cycle of DW projects and able to provide end to end solutions
• Able to work closely with supporting teams to develop integrated solutions (Legacy Systems, Web Methods, FTP, DBA's, etc)
• Experience and understanding with Data Modeling (powerdesigner/ERWIN tool preferred) and Dimensional Modeling
• Experience with Data Warehouse ROLAP/MOLAP and reporting technologies ( Business Objects, OBIEE, Crystal)
• Working knowledge of Kimball framework and Methodologies
• Familiarity with unstructured data warehousing
Preferred Qualifications:
• 9+ years of experience in a Decision Support/Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence environment
• College degree or higher ( Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education and technical training)
• Familiarity with Agile Software development
• Working knowledge of OBIEE and/or SAP BO
• Working knowledge of OWB
