Job title : PERFORMANCE ANALYST
Location : Philadelphia, PA
Duration : 6 Months Contract
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or highly relevant discipline
PERFORMANCE ANALYST
5+ years of relevant experience in a Consumer facing web environment with at least 2+ years on Performance Optimizations
Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience using modern website performance monitoring solutions like; Keynotes, Compuware Gomez, DynaTrace, Neustar Webmetrics, WebpageTest
Understanding and experience working with website analytics systems like Adobe SiteCatalyst (Omniture), CoreMetrics, Google Analytics, or Web Trends.
Understanding of all the factors of web performance including front-end components like HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Flash, CDN, Network, DB layers and back-end
infrastructure and 3rd party cloud services including pixels and tags
Ability to work closely with technical teams on detailed performance analysis
Ability to understand a high volume of data and identify the best way to summarize performance for a business audience
Ability to present to business customers a clear and uncompromising status of their site performance on a regular basis
Proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills
Experience working with SQL Server is an added plus
Flexible work scheduling as circumstances dictates
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance
Personal Characteristics:
Solid analytical skills, technology savvy, resourceful and self-motivated with natural passion and curiosity to problem solving
Comfortable working with technical and non-technical teams
Planning, negotiation and facilitation skills
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple initiatives without direct supervision
Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written
