Position : Java J2ee Lead

Location:  Richfield, MN

Rate: $/hr  Need only locals

Duration : Long Term

 

Our client is looking for an experienced Technical Lead - J2ee Technologies. In this role as a Technical Lead, you will work on a team that is responsible for developing an application for the enterprise. The ideal candidate must be motivated, organized, and a self-starter, yet able to take direction, follow a plan, and work within deadlines. Must have 7 years minimum experience as Technical Lead. Five years of experience in J2ee technologies, 5 years of experience in Weblogic, XML/XSDs, SOAP and SOA is required.

 

Responsibilities:

•             Lead the development in achieving the project goals, mentoring

•             Monitor the work progress and resolve road blocks in getting iteration delivery

•             Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue

•             Work with internal cross commit teams to accomplish project deliverables

•             Strong application design/problem solving skills

Requirements:

•             Deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle and structured software development methodologies

•             Strong hands on knowledge of J2ee technologies(Java,Jsp,Servlets,JDBC)

•             Ability to Code and deliver the tasks independently

•             Experience working with application servers like Weblogic, tomcat, JBoss

•             Knowledge on XML,XSDs and programming experience processing xml documents

•             Experience with SOA based architectures and extensive experience with SOAP based web services

•             Hands on experience with Oracle, and Strong SQL skills

•             Experience in supporting application Deployments, Source control management and administrating builds using tools like Jenkins, Cruise Control

•             Process experience with Agile

•             Must have strong team facilitation and management skills

•             Must be self-sufficient/self-starter

•             Must work well with little direction/takes initiative

Technologies:

•             J2ee Technologies – Java, JSP,Servlets,JDBC – 5 + Years MUST

•             Weblogic, tomcat, JBOSS – 5 + Years MUST

•             XML/XSDs - 5 + Years MUST

•             SOAP - 5 + Years MUST

•             SOA - 5 + Years MUST

•             SQL – 3 + Years

•             Oracle – hands on experience 3 + Years

•             Jenkins, Cruise Control

•             REST – Nice To Have

•             Spring Framework – Nice To Have

Nice to Have Skills:

•             Knowledge on open sources such as Spring and Hibernate

•             Knowledge of REST based services

•             Experience with Groovy, and other front end technologies like php

Some clients require background checks and drug screening as a condition for engagement / employment.  This means you could be asked to submit to any or all of the following: criminal background check, credit check or drug screen.
