Websphere Portal Architect
Location: Plano, TX
Duration: 6+ months contract

• 12+ years of IT experience with a strong development background of which at least 2 years performing the role of an Architect. • Solid background in Enterprise Portal / Collaboration systems especially with IBM suit of Products. • Experience working with bleeding edge technologies and an aptitude to adapt to new ones. • Have an analytical mind, an orientation towards research and a passion for Technology. • A Team player with strong customer focus. • Communication skills to listen to customers, map requirements to technologies, run pros and cons of possible options and direct them towards a solution. • Experience with IBM WebSphere Portal, WCM, Connections. • Search domain expertise with preference for IBM OmniFind / ICA. • Knowledge of IBM Forms, CCM, Quickr would be a plus. • Working knowledge of Documentum, SharePoint, eRoom would be nice to have. • Experience in dealing with vendors; open tickets with them and escalate as required. • Analyze technical capability of tools and third-party components and assist management in selecting the right tool to do their business
