§ Client interaction Objective of this activity is to have interaction with the users and the client members to manage the expectations and relationships with all the internal and external stakeholders of the project. § Ensure system availability Objective of this activity is to ensure the supported applications are up and running as per the agreed SLA, so that there is no impact to the business. § Schedule and task tracking Objective of this activity is to ensure the work being done by all team members are tracked by various metrics and reports. § Quality Management: Objective of this activity is to ensure the deliverables meet the expectations of the customers that raise requests. | Skills | |
· Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.
· Required – Very good communication skills and ability to handle responsibilities listed above · Preferred – v At least 2 years of experience with install, deploy and troubleshoot applications on Websphere servers. v At least 2 years of experience with UNIX environment v At least 1 year of experience with incident management, troubleshooting, client interaction. v At least 1 year of experience with IBM WebSphere Application/ Web Servers –JDBC / JMS / WorkManager / TimerManager/JVM. Configurations via Admin Console, Start/ Stop Commands, Deployment, Logs Analysis, Wsadmin, Jython, Various XML / Property Files, Web Servers & Plug-in Files v Analytical and Communication skills v Planning and Co-ordination skills v Experience with project management v Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel
