Strong knowledge of the ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server
Familiarity with web service and messaging concepts, unit test development, and a structured development environment.

Should be able to operate within specified guidelines with limited direct oversight
Command of standard testing and production deployment best practices
Structured, organized, comfortable with multi-tasking, detail oriented, proactive, high energy team player
Financial experience
Responsibilities
Development and coding of critical components, and associated unit tests.
Capture requirements from Traders, Analysis, Middle Office and Settlements.
User Training on new application functions.
Support user base and troubleshoot production issues.
Description:
The key technical knowledge for this project is ASP.Net, (NOT ASP.Net MVC.). Candidates should have significant experience with SQL Server NOT Oracle. They need to understand reporting tools, like SSRS or Crystal Reports. They would also like to see some experience with ORM tools and Winforms/WCF. Ideally they are seeking someone who is a mid-level developer, who knows how to do unit testing.
There are several things that they noted from the submittals and interviews thus far:
•They need someone who is experienced with ASP.Net development for Software applications. They do NOT want people who do front-end development or websites.
•They really want local people that are within a reasonable commuting distance to Stamford.
•They need hands-on developers. They have seen a great number of "Development Managers", "Technical Leads", and Architects.
