Job Title: Business Analyst - Equities 

Location: New York, NY

Duration: 8 Months Contract

Tasks and Responsibilities: 

Help team with analyzing requirements and map to technical requirements Research Front Office Equities production issues and see them to resolution Create system documents and plans, minutes of meetings 

Suggested Experience & Qualifications: 

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related degree, MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus A minimum of 5+ years direct work experience in a buy-side Asset Management area as a Business Analyst capacity required 

Must have knowledge of IT front, middle and back office processes and investment performance measurement systems 

Must have a basic understanding of Equities products and related Investment Products like Options, Futures, etc derivatives Extensive experience with buy-side portfolio management and trading systems Exceptional relationship management skills and prior experience owning IT relationships with the front office users including Portfolio Managers, Traders, Quants and Risk managers Experience implementing/integrating the following investment supporting systems: 

Oracle Business Intelligence, Eagle Pace/STAR, and Longview Strong familiarity with the vendor systems for risk/quantitative business including: Axioma, Barclays (POINT), FactSet, MSCI (Barra), SunGard (APT) and / or Thomson Reuters (Starmine and WorldScope). 

Experience working at above firms (preferred) Any progress towards CFA certification will be a plus
