Amazing facts !

 amazing facts !

What Drives People to Convert to Islam??!!

This is an extract from Dr. Gronier, a French MP, who embraced Islam.

Revealing the reason of embracing Islam he said, I read all of the

Ayat (Quranic verses), which have a relation to medical, health, and

natural sciences that I studied before and have a wide knowledge of. I

found that these verses are totally compatible with and give a picture

of our modern sciences. Thus, I embraced Islam as it was obvious that

Muhammad revealed the Absolute Truth more than a thousand years ago.

Had every specialist, artist or scientist compared those Quranic

verses to his own specialization, beyond the shadow of doubt he would

embrace Islam, especially if he has a sound mentality and goodwill to

 search for the truth...."

, Dr. Maurice Bucaille wrote in his book-'The Bible, the Qur'an and

 Science':

"I could not find a single error in the Qur'an…if a man was the author

of the Qur'an how could he have written facts in the 7th century A.D.

that today are shown to be in keeping with modern scientific

 knowledge"

Sarojini Naidu, Lectures on "The Ideals of Islam", see Speeches and

Writings of Sarojini Naidu, Madras, 1918, p. 167:

"Sense of justice is one of the most wonderful ideals of Islam,

because as I read in the Qur'an I find those dynamic principles of

life, not mystic but practical ethics for the daily conduct of life

 suited to the whole world."

Perhaps other religions do not answer the big questions of life, such

as "Who made us?" and "Why are we here?" Perhaps other religions do

not reconcile the injustices of life with a fair and just Creator.

Idris Tawfiq, Catholic Priest, UK says:

"Like all Britons, my knowledge about Muslims up to that time didn't

exceed what I heard from the TV about suicide bombers and fighters,

which gave the impression that Islam is a religion of troubles.

However, getting into Cairo I discovered how beautiful this religion

is. Very simple people selling goods on the street would abandon

their trade and direct their face to Allah and pray the moment they

heard the call to prayer from the mosque. They have a strong faith in

the presence and will of Allah. They pray, fast, help the needy and

dream to have a trip to Mecca with the hope of living in heaven in the

 hereafter," he said.

Colonel Donald S. Rockwell, Poet and Critic, USA says:

The broadminded tolerance of Islam for other religions recommends it

to all lovers of liberty. Muhammad admonished his followers to treat

well the believers in the Old and New Testaments; Abraham, Moses and

Jesus are acknowledged as co-prophets of the One God. Surely this is

generous and far in advance of the attitude of other religions.

The total freedom from idolatry ... is a sign of the salubrious

strength and purity of the Muslim faith.

The democracy of Islam has always appealed to me. Potentate and

pauper have the same rights on the floor of the mosque,

The Muslim accepts no man as a mediator between himself and his God.

He goes direct to the invisible source of creation and life, God,

without reliance on saving formula of repentance of sins and belief in

the power of a teacher to afford him salvation.

The universal brotherhood of Islam, regardless of race, politics,

color or country, has been brought home to me most keenly many times

in my life and this is another feature which drew me towards the

 Faith.

Wilfried Hofmann, German Social Scientist and Diplomat says:

found it difficult to accept that mankind is burdened with the

"original sin" and that God had to have his own son tortured and

murdered on the cross in order to save his own creations. "I began to

realize how monstrous, even blasphemous it is to imagine that God

could have been fallen short in his creation; that he could have been

unable to do anything about the disaster supposedly caused by Adam and

Eve without begetting a son, only to have him sacrificed in such a

 bloody fashion;

But what contains the truth – Judeo-Christian ******ures or Islam?

found the answer to this question in his third crucial experience

when he came across the following verse of the Quran:is verse opened

up his eyes and provided the answer to his dilemma. Clearly and

unambiguously for him, it rejected the ideas of the burden of

"original sin" and the expectation of "intercession" by the saints.

"A Muslim lives in a world without clergy and without religious

hierarchy; when he prays he does not pray via Jesus, Mary, or other

interceding saints, but directly to God – as a fully emancipated

believer – and this is a religion free of mysteries." According to

Hofmann, "A Muslim is the emancipated believer par excellence."

"I began to see Islam with its own eyes, as the unadulterated,

pristine belief in the one and only, the true God, Who does not beget,

and was not begotten, Whom nothing and nobody resembles … In place of

the qualified deism of a tribal God and the constructions of a divine

Trinity, the Quran showed me the most lucid, most straightforward, the

most abstract - thus historically most advanced – and least

 anthropomorphic concept of God."

"The Quran's ontological statements, as well as its ethical teachings,

impressed me as profoundly plausible, "as good as gold," so there was

no room for even the slightest doubt about the authenticity of

 Muhammad's prophetic mission.

Sue Watson, Professor, Pastor, Church Planter and Missionary says:

 .

seeing that what we had been taught about Islam is that it is Demonic

and Satanic religion.. It was the first time I had ever read a book

about Islam written by a Muslim, we had studied and read books about

Islam only written by Christians..This went on everyday for a week, by

which time I had read twelve books

My other important question centered on Muhammad [may the mercy and

blessings of God be upon him]. Who is this Muhammad? I found out

that Muslims do not pray to him like the Christians pray to Jesus.

after having spent eight (8) years of formal theological studies, I

knew cognitively (head knowledge) that Islam was true.
