Qualifications:

• MUST HAVE MS Office Plug-in development expertise
• 3+ years of .Net development experience
• Winforms, WPF, Collections, Threads, Serialization, Garbage Collection, LINQ
• Inter Process Communication, MS Office Primary Interop Assemblies, VSTO
• Web Services (REST/SOAP), design patterns, multi-threaded systems, locking and thread synchronization
• Unit testing frameworks such as NUnit

 

Senior VB.NET Developer

Location: St. Paul, MN

Duration: 8-10 months

Start Date: ASAP

Job Description:

VB.Net Developer to develop a custom application to handle their Fiscal Note process.

This application will be web based and developed using Visual Studio 2010 with Visual Basic .Net and utilize multiple third party toolsets to accomplish collection of narrative data in rich text, creation of ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant pdf final fiscal note reports, among other project specific requirements.

The consultant will be working in a team environment with a dedicated technical lead to set and coordinate work direction of all developers.

Required Skills:

·        5+ years' experience in VB.Net development

·        5+ years' experience with Oracle Database and AJAX

·        4+ years' experience with ADA compliant application development and testing

·        3+ years' experience with PeopleSoft single sign-on

·        3+ years' experience Rich Text Editor, file
