Position: OBIEE Tech Lead

Description:
The primary focus of this position is the Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Applications from OBIEE and their associated interfaces. Candidate will serves as the subject matter expert for OBIEE providing expertise to the technical team in Oracle BI Server, Oracle BI Answers, Oracle BI Interactive Dashboard, Delivers, and Oracle BI Publisher. Incumbent will assist in the installation, configuration, and documentation of all OBIEE components for 11g upgrade from existing 10g environment. Candidate must possess excellent technical skills in Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE), including BI Repository development, reports and dashboards creation, and catalog/security administration in presentation services. Candidate must have solid knowledge of OBIEE application server configuration and tuning is required. Candidate must be able to develop complex ETL/Reports using multiple source data.
• Other IT Support related tasks as deemed appropriate by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Five plus years proven technical experience in Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence environments
• Five plus years proven OBIEE experience (10g or 11g)
• Three plus years proven experience in OBI Administration and Presentation Servers
• Solid experience performing Administration tasks in OBIEE: experience with clustering, tuning, configuration, capacity planning, architecture, backup & recovery strategy, disaster recovery, applying application and web-tier level patches required on servers
• Minimum two years knowledge of OBIEE application server configuration and tuning is required.
• Three plus years of experience with Oracle PL / SQL required
• Five plus years of experience with SQL (Oracle, MS SQL or DB2) required
• Solid experience with data modeling, data analyst, and database objects design
• Solid experience in creating OBIEE Metadata, OBI Answers, OBI Dashboards, and BI Publisher
• Solid experience in implementing security at various levels
• Previous experience with Unix / Linux environments
• Proven analytical and problem solving skills for assessment of complex production support issues and recommend / implement effective solutions
• Other software desired includes, MS Office products, MS Project, Visio, TOAD, SQL Navigator, ERWin (or other data modeling solution)
• Excellent written, analytical and verbal communication skills
• Four year degree or equivalent experience required.
• Certifications in DW / BI technologies highly desirable
