Requirements Details:

Title:        Linux System Engineer / Software Engineer

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 9+ months

 

Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, execute and debug information technology test cases and scripts.

- Validate and document completion of testing and development.

- Automate test cases and verify fixes.

- Find bugs, defects, and regressions.

 

Skills:

- Degree and 6+ years of related experience
1) Install configure test Conical Ubuntu or Kbuntu or Obuntu on blade or rack servers 
2) Testing of following OS: Debian, Windows W2K8/ WS2012, VMware ESX, RHEL 5/6 
- Package Manager experience for RHEL/DEBIAN/UBUNTU 
3) Manual test Ubuntu, Kbuntu or Obuntu against Storage and Network verification, iSCSI, FC/FCOE 
Storage array: EMC {VNX,VMAX}, NETAPP 
4) Perl, Python or Shell scripting - Desired
5) Experience in physical lab and hardware setup Blade Servers 
6) Experience setting up an maintaining test environment
