Data Architect Job Description
- Strong on concepts and hands on experience in Data Model (OLTP/ETL).
- In-depth knowledge and experience in logical, physical, dimensional, and metadata data modeling, for both data warehouse and data marts (OLAP)
- Hands on experience in building and implementation of Data migration , ETL, Data Quality, Data warehouse, Data Marts, Data Mining and Report/Analytical and MDM projects
- Experience in popular DB vendors (Oracle/MSSQL/Teradata) ,ETL Tools(Informatica/SSIS/Data Stage), Data Quality(DataFlux, Informatica/IBM), Data warehouse (IBM Info sphere/Oracle/Teradata) platforms, Reporting tolls(EBO/SSRS/SAS/Cognos)
- Defines the data design methodology, development process methodology, best practices and perform design reviews across the organization.
- Hands on experience in establishing Data Governess for an enterprise and good knowledge in information architecture.
- Meet with business stakeholders and other technical team members to gather and analyze application data requirements
- Design database solutions to satisfy application (business and technical) requirements ßmajor and very important activity, especially conceptual and logical modeling
- Reviewing the Data model
- Well versed with SQL
- Good in Data Analysis
- Create a long-term, enterprise-wide plan to integrate all business systems and workflows for the whole organization, including the prioritized detailed steps and budget for the plan
- Ensuring Data quality at enterprise level
- Identifying and mitigating the risks related to enterprise data
- Consistently align information systems to organization mission
- Part of Data Governance
- Mainly to identify organization data standards
- Data Recovery planning
