| This position will be on the legacy applications team. This is the team that develops and manages the Order Manager application that is used for every client. Everything goes through this application including the web-based portal that tracks order status as well as order fulfillment and receiving. While this is an older application, it is a huge and thriving application that is continuing to be enhanced and to grow. This developer will initially be primarily doing maintenance and enhancements to this application. There will also be new development when new customers are brought on. The technologies in this group are: J2EE, Struts, JSP, XML, Oracle, Tomcat. This person should have Oracle capabilities including PL/SQL as well as SQL (optimize queries and write queries). Any Linux command line experience would be a plus but is not required. Junit for unit testing would be helpful. This person should have great analytical skills and a desire to contribute to the business and be a problem solver. They do not need a heads down coder. |
