Duration: 12 Months

TOP THREE SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:

1.        Five years experience supporting the DB2 on both distributed and mainframe platforms
2.        Five years of experience in SQL and PL/SQL coding
3.        Experience with DB2 Database Utilities


REQUIREMENTS:
1.        Five years experience supporting the DB2 on both distributed and mainframe platforms
2.        Five years of experience in SQL and PL/SQL coding
3.        Experience with DB2 Database Utilities
4.        Experience with DB2 Database Tools
5.        Five years relational database technology expertise Significant experience in identifying and resolving SQL performance issues through tuning
6.        Service oriented and able to share technical knowledge with others 
7.        Responds to requests for assistance, with some requests requiring formal responses 

DUTIES:
Assists in creating and maintaining DB2 databases
Maintains database administration standards and procedures
Assists programmers in application implementation  and problem resolution
Migrates New/Modified Databases to production, and quality assurance environments 
Assists programmers with complex queries and has the ability to tune queries to optimize performance 
Provides assistance with the usage of database utilities or other related development tools
