Position: SOA/Integration QA Test Lead
Location: Columbus, IN
Duration: 6-12 Months
SOA/Integration QA Test Lead/Testers (Onsite/Offshore)
Job Description:
· Develops strategic vision for SOA/Integration testing program. Creates and implements test framework, setting the standards for test planning, preparation and execution. Defines, deploys and manages the appropriate test framework along with corresponding methodology for how the overall SOA/Integration Program will utilize the framework to build/execute testing
· Defines the scope of testing within the context of each phase for SOA/Integration Program (e.g. Data, Integration, etc)
· Identifies areas of test automation using IBM Rational tools (Rational Functional Tester, Rational Performance Tester) for Integration Testing, Regression Testing and Performance Testing
· Plans, deploys and manages the test effort of each phase for SOA/Integration Program
· Defines, deploys and monitors key measures and metrics to be applied against the test effort and the test resources
· Identifies test deliverables required to execute testing framework
· Designs and develops templates for test strategy, approach and plan deliverables
· Defines test objectives and test execution strategy for the SOA/Integration Program
· Defines integration strategy between other IT programs and test resources
Skillsets:
· Overall 10+ years IT experience required in providing Quality Assurance and Testing services
· Expert understanding of test principles, disciplines and phase execution
· Demonstrated experience in managing test phases across multiple organizations or work streams
· Demonstrated experience in deploying, meeting and/or exceeding test execution metrics
· Solid understanding of project design and build phases
· Knowledge of SOA/Integration concepts especially around Oracle SOA suite 11g and Oracle Service Bus 11g (OSB) tools
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Proven problem solving skills
· Knowledge of the business process
· Proficient in IBM Rational testing tools such as Rational Functional Tester & Rational Performance Tester
