Our client is currently seeking a JUNIOR JAVA ENGINEER. Responsibilities: aSupport the design and planning of architecture to support goals of the project aSolid Object Oriented design principles aAbility to support development and test of end-to-end Software/Web Applications leveraging JEE technologies, Web/MVC frameworks and UI technologies aSupport enforcement of software development standards and best practices aProactively communicates with the development, QA teams and management to anticipate configuration management issues/processes aProactively seeks opportunities to implement improvements to internal team processes aContributes to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organizations Agile project lifecycle
Requirements
Qualifications / Requirements: a2- 4years experience analyzing, designing and implementing integration solutions using JEE technologies or related, and a Master's degree in related field or (4) years total experience and a Bachelor's degree in related field a4-6 years experience with multiple programming languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript. Expereince with JVM dynamic languages such as Groovy, Clojure or Scala is a plus aHands-on experience with web application frameworks and UI technologies including Spring, Spring MVC, Hibernate/ORM, Web Services, XML/XSLT/WSDL, HTML/CSS, jQuery aExperience with RDBMS databases such as Oracle, MySQL, Postgres; Experience with NOSQL databases such as MongoDB is a plus aExperience with deploying and troubleshooting web applications to application servers such as JBoss and Tomcat aExperience developing message-oriented integration solutions with Java and JMS is a plus aExpert in using and managing source control tools, Subversion, GIT, TortoiseSVN and Java IDEs aExperience with a wide variety of testing tools and techniques (JUnit, Mocking, Cucumber/BDD frameworks) aExperience with Extreme Programming, TDD, Continuous Integration (Jenkins and Gradle/Maven/Ant), Automated Testing and Confluence tools is a plus aThorough understanding of SDLC and Scrum/Agile Professional Certifications Preferred: aJava/J2EE Developer Certifications aCertified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Developer or related is preferred Education: aBacheloras Degree in a complimentary discipline required, Masters Degree in a technical or business discipline is preferred Clearance: United States Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance is required
