IT Project Manager
55-60/hr
6+ month contract
Charlotte, NC
Least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Core Activities Supported:
Collects information and completes Gap-Fit analysis to identify best solution(s)
Develops general implementation plan and schedule needed for business case. Develops project team concept and personnel requirements. Works with vendors, partners (both internal and external) to develop implementation and support budget
Works with stakeholders to build business case and presentation materials needed for project approval using existing templates
Completes detailed project blueprint, including interfaces and data migration plan
Project Manager for implementation
Project planning and controlling (scope, schedule, cost, risk & opportunity management)
On-going communications to team and project stakeholders
Develops key user training plan and documentation
Working Mode:
Works with business process owners, IT SMEs, Business Process management teams from the business, Charlotte IT (non-SAP) development team, members of IT management
On-site in Charlotte not less than 4 days per week
Requirements:
· SAP MM
· SAP WM
· Data Migration Planning & Execution
· Performs Gap/Fit Analysis of Options
· Develops Training Plans
· Documents processes (OneP standards)
· SAP EBP Knowledge
Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects within the information technology department.
· Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.
· Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects.
· Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.
· May require a bachelors degree and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
· Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures.
· Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
· Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.
· A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
· Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
· Experience in successfully delivering technical IT projects. PMP preferred
