Location : Columbus, OH.
3+ Years of relevant IT experience in a Senior Level Websphere Administrator who has strong experience with Patch as well as recent experience with WAS 8.x or higher
Required:-
Along with good communication skills, the candidate should possess excellent technical skills in
Java 1.5+,
IBM Websphere Application server 8.X
J2EE applications architecture
LDAP integration
Unix-like environments (Linux/Unix/AIX)
Scripting skills (Perl/Bash/ KSH / shell scripts)
• Configure and implement latest Websphere 8.5 version at enterprise.. Involved in certifying platform.
• Modify, maintain, improve existing Websphere version 7.X and higher
• Support the automated installation and upgrade of IBM fix pack patches
• Strong problem solving skills: able to logically break down a problem into smaller manageable parts to solve.
• Possess strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal assistance
• Works with the client independently to understand requirements.
• Create documentation of projects worked on for maintenance and future training purposes.
Desired:-
6-8+ Years of IT experience.
Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Good communication and team collaboration skills
