Essential Skill(s) :            Datacenter - Wintel Platform Core (L1)

 

JOB Description:

§         Experience in  P2V migration ,V2V migration ,VMware new build implementation 5.0/5.1

 

§         VMWare vCenter migration 2.5 - 4.1 or later , Working knowledge for vMotion/storage vMotion, DRS, HA, iSCSI/VMDK & VMFS knowledge etc.,.

 

       May substitute an equivalent combination of education and experience.

       Must have demonstrated knowledge and/or skills in the following areas:

        Expertise Windows NT/2003 /2008 Active Directory

        Experience with DNS, DHCP, WINS, and TCP/IP

        Experience in Microsoft applications, i.e.: SCOM, and Terminal Services

        Experience with backup software and recovery procedures.

        Knowledge of WAN/LAN technology

        Experience with Microsoft monitoring tools

        Experience with Dell servers and SAN equipment.

       Strong understanding of the web technical infrastructure including security, network infrastructure and web services

        Experience with content management tools and products to facilitate the  implementation of an intranet portal

        Experienced with Internet standards such as HTTP, HTML, FTP and Shell Scripting

        Project leadership skills including workplan development and management, and accomplishing projects within budget.
