Role: JAVA Developer

Location: Gaithersburg MD

Duration: 12 Months+

 

Minimum Qualifications: 
1. Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent certificate.
2. Must have 2 plus years of development experience in
a. JAVA and  J2EE 
b. HTML, CSS, XML & JavaScript
c. Servlet, JSP, JSP Tags, EJB, JMS, Axis and Struts pattern 
3. Must have 1 plus years of development experience in
a. Websphere or JBoss Application Server
b. SOA
4. Must have 2 plus years automated unit testing experience using JUNIT or Selenium
5. Good knowledge of Oracle, SQL and PL/SQL (Creating procedures/triggers)
6. Must have understanding on Configuration Management tools e.g. IBM Rational tools
7. Should have Good communication, documentation and presentation skills

Following skills would be a "PLUS":
• Prior Health Care Applications / MMIS project experience
• Agile/Iterative development experience
• UML 2.0 based designing tools 
• Experience integrating applications with Mule, JCAPS or Seibel CRM

 

Work Assignments:  
• Work under direction from the technical lead
• Responsible for writing J2EE compliant code utilizing standard IDE's such as Eclipse as per project coding standards
• Responsible for creating Graphical user interface utilizing GUI tools 
• Participate in code peer reviews and ensure the code written complies with the company standards and policies
• Participate in meetings and discussions with Functional/Technical Leads to understand the requirements and work out a design
