Title: SSRS Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration: 6 Months

Rate: $45/hr

 

 

SUMMARY:

·         Accountable for the design, development, and unit testing of the next generation reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         This individual will be responsible for the successful design, development, and integration of reports within the Microsoft Reporting Services 2008/2008 R2 using .net framework 3.5 and above performing user-driven design, optimized stored procedure and report development and unit testing.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED

·         At least three years of experience in a developer role developing reports utilizing Microsoft Reporting Services 2005/2008 environment and at least 5 years of report and SQL query development experience in a business and technical environment

·         Technical skills must include .Net Development, Microsoft Reporting Services, T-SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedure creation and Microsoft Visual Studio /Microsoft Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS) experience

·         Advanced knowledge in relational databases especially for SQL Server and Oracle

·         Candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills

·         Undergraduate degree in computer science or related area of study.

 

PREFERRED

·         Expert level knowledge in at least one of the following Windows technology areas is preferred: SQL Server 2008, 2008 R2,  T-SQL, Microsoft Reporting Services 2008

·         Experience with industry leading business intelligence tools and/or technologies based on dimensional data modeling techniques

·         Hands-on experience in cube and dashboard development, including those based on Microsoft technologies and competitive platforms
