Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Database Administrator, you will work in a global team environment to support Database projects for Core Infrastructure Services in Global Technology Infrastructure LOB.
Required:
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience with managing Oracle or MSSQL Databases
Solid Experience in MSSQL 2008 R2 or newer, Oracle 11g or newer, Oracle RAC, Data Guard, Data Guard Broker, ASM, ACFS, database replication techniques, automation of Database builds, database upgrades, Database migrations, database monitoring, database performance tuning, database backup/recovery.
Requires good communication skills to work closely with Project Managers, System administrators, Solution Architects, Application development team and other GTI Teams to complete the Database projects.
Good RHEL, AIX, Windows 2008 R2 or newer operating system experience is needed along with shell scripting
Participation in drawing up new standards (where appropriate) to ensure that best practices are applied
Experience with OEM & GRID Control for monitoring and troubleshooting
Implement audit Security and access controls
Should Work independently and Good team player
Implement Global standards and follow Oracle best practices
Participation in the planning and implementation of disaster recovery exercises
Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel
Desired:
Oracle Golden Gate experience is preferred

Certifications:
Oracle 10g/11g and/or MCDBA certification is desired
