We have urgent requirement of Technical Architect with one of our direct client in WA.
 

Position: Technology Architecture Developers (4 candidates requested)

Location: Olympia, WA

Duration: 1 year

 

Skills Required

 

·         Designing program and BPM code in a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment

·         Experience with Windows server class operating systems, Windows client, and industry standard Internet browser environments

·         Experience with code optimization and application configuration to improve efficiency, reliability, scalability and other non-functional requirements.

·         Experience with upgrading  IBM WebSphere Process Server applications to IBM Business Process Manager.

·         Experience with upgrading  IBM iLog JRules applications to IBM Operational Decision Manager.

·         Experience as a solution architect using WebSphere Portal Server, Process Server (or BPM), Application Server.

·         Understands and follows Enterprise Architecture guidelines.

 

·         Experience creating business process services (workflows)

·         Experience creating, testing and implementing data services

·         Experience with Microsoft, J2EE and IBM WebSphere Integration Developer development environments and tool sets

·         Experience with building applications for WebSphere Process Server.

·         Experience with messaging infrastructure/Enterprise Service Bus, preferably WebSphere MQ

·         Experience with defining service contracts (WSDL, schema, policy) and designing service orchestrations.

 

DUTIES

The Candidate selected will conduct the body of work required under Agency leadership. The descriptions below are not intended to completely describe all of the work that the Vendor(s) would need to perform to complete the work required under work orders resulting from this Work Request. The work will include, but is not limited to, the following:

 

·         Attend business meetings, seminars and training – May attend business meetings, seminars, or training as required. Actively participate in technical team meetings if requested, and provide input to business area customers and other team members when requested.

·         Develop detailed design – Develop detailed system design documents. Conduct periodic reviews and updates of system design. Document design changes.

·         Perform systems analysis – Conduct a thorough analysis of the current business requirements and produce process models and data models for applicable systems as required.

·         Support system verification – Assist staff in identification of system verification processes and conditions. Assist in identification and preparation of test data that helps the customer group support testing of specific conditions. Modify and retest application programs based upon customer identification of system test incident reports.

·         Estimate service requests and fiscal notes – Provide written estimates in the format provided.

·         Follow change control process – Follow Agency process for managing issues and design changes throughout each entire initiative, including use of the Department's development and test environments.

·         Support implementation – Provide technical support during the promotion of application releases to production.

·         Develop application interfaces – Develop interfaces with existing Agency applications (Application-to-application data transfer is accomplished via the Agency Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) using IBM WebSphere.)

·         Develop appropriate documentation - Develop system documentation and training materials that facilitate knowledge transfer; turn over all code, test results, and documentation to the Agency Core Team Lead. Provide documentation of changes and enhancement at Agency's request.

·         Augment the resources of the Services Development core team – Complete change requests and bug fixes as assigned. Known requirements for the 2013-2015 biennium include, but are not limited to:

• 32 ECS change requests and bug fixes, totaling 4000 estimated work hours.

• Performance tuning of ECS to support agency-wide rollout by December 2013.

• Design and implementation of additional business process automation for ECS.

·         Support major system software and infrastructure upgrades - Upgrades being planned for the 2013-2015 biennium include, but are not limited to:

• Migration from IBM WebSphere Process Server 7.0 to IBM Business Process Manager

• Migration from IBM iLOG JRules 7.0 to IBM Operational Decision Manager.

• Upgrade of WebSphere Application Server and Portal Server.

• Migration from Visual Studio/TFS from 2010 to 2012.

• Migration of Java source code from Subversion to TFS 2012

• Support for new Internet browser.
