Location: Des Moines, IA

Duration: 12+ months

Rate: $50/hr C2C/1099 All Inc.

 

Skills Needed:

Knowledge of IDMS database structures.             Required             5              Years

Experience using IDMS DBA utilities        Required             3              Years

Extensive JCL experience             Required             5              Years

Ability to independently research and resolve problems               Required             5              Years

ADS and COBOL desirable, but not required        Highly desired                   

IDMS system programming experience Highly desired                   

Perform database changes (restructure, unload/reload, recovery, rollback and roll forward,etc.)              Highly desired                    

The experience and ability to migrate ADS and DC-COBOL programs to QA and production           Highly desired                   

Experience installing and upgrading software for IDMS and third-party products                Highly desired                   

Maintain in house-developed web service software       Highly desired                   

Skills with other database platforms a plus (DB2, SQL Server, Teradata)  Highly desired                   

Monitor/tune CV and batch performance (SYSGEN, DMCL buffers, etc.)                Required
