Title: Hyperion Developer
Location: NJ
Duration: 6 months
Strong Oracle Hyperion Interactive Reporting developer needed for development and support of reporting dashboards. Responsibilities include analysis, technical design, implementation and testing of a Dashboards and reports using multiple data source
Responsibilities include technical design, implementation and testing of a Dashboard based on business requirements wi th effective use of multiple data sources to deliver a high quality product. In addition, the senior developer will provide technical knowledge to other development projects.
Core skills in the job include ability to apply expert level of technical knowledge of Oracle Hyperion Interactive Reporting, Dashboard Studio, databases and data warehouse, and Windows operating systems to understand and develop Retirement Service Plan Level view of Profit and Loss and mainly working with project director and other state holders to implement timely solutions. Additionally, experience with Oracle EPM Workspace architecture on both web and server components to provide complete solution.
Qualifications Required (Experience, Skill, Academic):
. 10+ years of development experience on software projects
. 6+ years as report developer with expert level knowledge of Oracle Hyperion Interactive Reporting, Dashboard Studio; Hyperion EPM Workspace and Foundation Services;
. Expert level of SQL query skills, with experiences on Oracle and SQL Server;
. Experience and strong skills in data analysis and data architect; Attention to details;
. Experience with finance type data, billing, revenue, retirement plans a plus;
. Ability to deliver tasks in quick turnaround with high quality;
. Ability to perform well designed reporting dashboard for a complex requirement;
. Ability to understand interactions of a large code base.
. Experience in Window scripts, in Window2003 and 2008 environments;
. Experience with development best practices and coding standard;
. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
The following skills are pluses:
. BI, Data Modeling
. Essbase. ETL (Extraction, Transform, and Loading)
. RapidSQL, PL/SQL or DBArtisan
. LINUX
. FTP, SFTP for file transmission
. Production Support;
Education/Background:
MS degree in computer science/engineering/mathematics or technical discipline preferred, minimum BS computer science/engineering/mathematic
Candidates should have experience with Full Software Life Cycle in team environment as well as Rapid Application Development and Agile methodology. Demonstrated strong understanding and experience with data analysis and GUI design and SQL is critical.
