Skills Needed:

Client is seeking a short tem contractor (12 months) to provide end-user support for the analysis, design, development and maintenance of customized database applications using a variety of technology environments. Candidate will use Microsoft Office including Microsoft Access, client/server and web-based environments. In additional to working with customized database applications, the candidate will also serve as a liaison between various sections in creating and preparing databases to upload to the web.

 

Other duties that may be assigned are the following:

• Working closely to ensure data is applied accurately to need determination methodologies;

• Creating SQL queries, Visual basic code and ad hoc reports in Microsoft (MS) Access 2003

• Writing technical user documentation;

• Introducing new and improved technology concepts to the branch and the division;

• Providing end-user support for the analysis, design and development of customized database applications as needed for other sections within the division; and

• Cross training.

 

Required:

Graduation from a 4 year college or university and 4+ years of experience in system development/management;
