Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst
Location: main campus of Microsoft, Redmond, WA
Rate: $54/hr on c2c
Duration: long term
Interview: phone & skype
The BI Analyst will be adding and making changes to a cube that captures bugs and project metrics that will help the team track results against their schedule. The analyst will work closely with Product Development and will collaborate with full-time employees to provide new ideas to the group. The resource will need to be able to work on the Redmond campus and will be subject to work the Microsoft business schedule and hours.
Technical Requirements
• Knowledgeable in SSIS, SSAS, and SQL Server.
• Familiar with ETL and Data warehouse design models (i.e. star schema).
• MDX experience is preferred.
• Degree in a technical field.
Non-Technical Requirements
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including communicating technical information and logic.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effectively manage stakeholders on deliverables.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
