However please stress on the fact about their level of WPF experience i.e. whether it is restricted only to UI changes or have they worked on WPF (code level using WPF).

Most of the profiles while interviewing only have UI level of experience in WPF.

8 years experience . 

Need to have Product development knowledge… on analytical instruments.

Desktop development experience. 

Dot Net , C# , WCF , WPF,    

Good OOAD design skills .

Experience in onsite-Offshore Co-ordination. 

Need to be hands on technically.

Need to have good communication skills.
