Senior Websphere MQ Administrator experienced with large scale MQ installations on distributed platforms such as Unix AIX and variations of Linux.
Job Requirements:
- 4+ years of enterprise level MQ administration experience
- Installation, upgrades and configuration experience
- Designing of complex MQ applications
- Capacity planning and performance tuning
- MQ clustering
- Trouble shooting within comp
- lex MQ environments
- MQ Monitor
- Working knowledge of MQ APIs and JMS. Ability to work with application areas developing/troubleshooting MQ processes
- Working knowledge of Message Driven Beans
- Unix scripting
- On call support
Desired Skills:
- WebSphere MQ Message Broker experience
- WebSphere MQ security
- C and/or Java application development skills (Java preferred)
- Working knowledge of pub/sub model
- Solid communication skills
Education:
- Information Technologies
- Bachelor degree preferred
- Strong Java and messaging experience is a plus.
