Position : SQL Developer
Location: Yardely,PA
Duration: 2-3 Months Contract To Hire
Visa Status : EAD GC,GC &Citizens
Max Rate : $45/hr
DESCRIPTION
The functions performed and supported by the Technical Analyst include: merging technology data with software applications to generate reporting, analytics to meet overall business strategies for internal departments and designated pharmaceutical client(s). Experienced candidate will optimize existing systems data collection, reporting of metrics and ad hoc information to meet the employer and customer(s) needs; use all available information (mined data, metrics, industry data, etc) to analyze data into valuable business recommendations, reporting, and metrics that meet business and client objectives.
Technical skills
Minimum 5 years application development experience in a windows based environment.
Minimum 5 years professional experience designing and developing RDBMS based applications
Must have demonstrated expertise in SQL Server 2005 and 2008, SSIS (SQL Server Integrations Services)
Experience in TSQL, creating/modifying complex stored procedures, functions, indexing, and triggers
Experience working with dashboard platforms (ie. Cognos, ClickView, Dundas, etc.)
Experience working with combining disparate data sources in a reporting environment.
Experience with SSIS design and development within a formal IT framework.
Experience with report design and development within a formal IT framework
Strong application development and object oriented design and development skills.
Strong experience in design and development of applications using Microsoft technologies such as Visual Basic, and ASP.
Demonstrates ability to provide guidance and apply experience to refine specifications when needed.
Demonstrates ability to work in a flexible manner with changing specifications.
Business skills/Qualifications
Minimum 3 years experience working with internal business units to gather technical project requirements.
Minimum 3 years experience working with internal business units to support and train personnel in application usage.
Experience working with external clients in an outsourcing business environment desirable.
Ability to prioritize work with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills is essential.
Pharma experience a plus.
College degree a plus.
