ETL Software Developer in Atlanta, GA

Duration: 6 months

The Senior ETL Software Developer performs analysis, design and implementation of ETL processes and architecture for our Enterprise Data Warehouse, Operational Data Store (ODS), and other data structures that support our Business Intelligence operations.
•Analyzes requirements and existing resources to create efficient database and ETL designs that meet company IT standards.
•Works with project and business analyst leads in order to develop and clarify in-depth technical requirements.
•Assists / provides guidance to other team members.
•Participates in all phases of the ETL development lifecycle, including unit testing and ongoing support.

The Informatica developers will be working on integration to/from a new store system based on Informatica 9.1.

BS or BA degree in a related field required, unless there is significant, relevant work experience. •Eight or more years experience in software engineering. •Four or more years experience in a large scale Oracle RDMS environment, preferably 11g. •Experience with Informatica Powercenter ETL Development. •Solid, quantifiable experience in advanced PL/SQL techniques. •Experience in Unix shell and Windows scripting. •ETL design skills in a Data Warehousing environment. •Ability to analyze complex ETL workflows from heterogeneous data sources. •Experienced in large Enterprise Data Warehouse projects. •Strong background in full lifecycle development using multiple platforms or languages. •Ability to interact with Management and Software Developers, on- and off-site. •Ability to interact at a technical and non-technical level with Infrastructure, Network, Development, BA and QA teams. •System architecture and development experience in a high transaction/high availability systems.
