Our DIRECT CLIENT is looking for QA Engineer – El Segundo, CA

 

Need LOCALS ONLY, F2F is MUST (SKYPE Possible for the perfect candidate)

Duration: Long term

Rate - $45/hr (can go a few dollars more for a strong candidate)

 

MUST have experience in Selenium, Java, UNIX/LINUX

 

Qualifications:  

• A BS degree in Computer Science or related engineering field required.
• 7 + years hands on experience in software development using Java and software test/quality assurance required.
• Solid UNIX/Linux experience required.
• Hands on experience with Grey Box and White Box testing required.
• Hands on experience in testing and debugging Java-based services and applications with and without UI.
• Experience in relational database and SQL required.
• Experience in testing Web Services required.
• Solid understanding of Software Configuration Management concepts and methodologies required.
• Proficiency with one of the source control tools (e.g. Subversion, CVS).
• Proficiency in a programming or scripting language.
• Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture and messaging protocols preferred.
• Hands-on knowledge of open-source tools and platforms (e.g. Eclipse, SoapUI, JMeter) preferred.
• Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing requirements and schedules.
• Able to work successfully in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment and effectively multi-task multiple priorities in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving and analytical skills are needed.
