DataStage Administrator
Location: Newark, DE
Duration: 8-12 Months
Description:
This is strictly admin role. There will not be any data stage development for this role.
Following are the key activities that define the role especially the one with Grid implementation and migration.
Experience in DataStage 8.x administration activities – project creation, user roles, configuring data sources, maintaining DS servers, engine and domain servers.
Experience in Grid Implementation and migration
Experience in debugging and troubleshooting DataStage platform related issues, long complex SQL queries, Unix shell scripts.
We are working on migration of the standalone data stage server on to Grid to distribute the work load on the data stage server. Post this migration there will be more tasks related to maintenance of grid infrastructure and data stage servers.
We need someone who has experience in grid implantation and maintenance of data stage server and willing to do these activities.
