Business Analyst
New York, New York
12 months 

Job Duties:
• Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in the financial services industry, specific to hedge funds or alternative asset class products/ mutual funds.
• Good Understanding of the data warehousing and concepts related to it 
• Analyze project requirements and develop detailed specifications for new and existing data warehouse reporting requirements
• Working with the Data Modelers and developers, facilitate modification of the logical design to create a physical design most suited to the reporting needs of the business
• Excellent MS-Excel skills
• Basic Sql queries abilities
• Basic quality center understanding


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to design solutions considering data reconciliation (of the source system)
• Researching, analyzing, and reporting information from a variety of sources, and assisting business users with data understanding as well as implementing reporting solutions
• Review and validate the development of test data and scenarios incorporating extensive knowledge of the business rules in place
• Conducts investigation into data anomalies. Must have appropriate knowledge of source systems (Interacting with SME)
• Proven experience in Business Analysis activities (related to the responsibilities given below)
