We have requirement with our direct client for a Technical Consultant.  Must have previous IT Project lead experience.  Looking for Someone with Medicaid, MMIS, MITA, etc. experience and previous gov't experience.

 

 

Position: Technical Consultant

Number of Openings: 2

Duration: 2 year with extension possible

Location: Columbia SC


REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
1. IT PROJECT LEAD OR MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE
2. STRONG UNDERSTANDING HEALTH INSURANCE CONCEPTS (ELIGIBILITY, CLAIMS, PROVIDER MANAGEMENT)
3. EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION
4. SOLID UNDERSTANDING OF LEGAL PRINCIPLES, ESP AS RELATES TO PUBLIC HEALTHCARE
5. ABILITY TO DELIVER CRITICISM IN A NON-ACCUSATORY MANNER

6. PREVIOUS GOV'T EXPERIENCE

PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
1. MEDICAID EXPERIENCE
2. MMIS SYSTEM EXPERIENCE
3. MEDICAID IT ARCHITECTURE (MITA)
4. STATE MEDICAID MANUAL
5. MEDICAID ENTERPRISE CERTIFICATION TOOLKIT (MECT)


REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
ITIL WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE.
AGILE WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE.
