Skills :
Must have strong Spring experience. They Need a Sr level backend developer. Need to see webservices, ESB, SOA and design patterns in the resume. This is more of a core Java position not so much on the J2EE side. Need to also see things like hibernate ORM, Junit and TDD.
Project Mission:
The primary mission for this Java developer resource is to independently develop an support and develop back-end Java programs and services used by internal Southwest Customers. This person will be responsoble for taking direction from the project Tech Lead by assisting with design, build, unit test, test, deploy and production support of the application that is being enhanced and used by SOuthwest Business Departments.
The application will be mission critical to the operation of Southwest Airlines and as such, has been designed with appropriate throughput, monitoring and robustness. Future enhancements must conform to these standards.
Development of any solution will require interacting not only with this individual's team, but also several other teams.
