Required ETL LEAD at Sunnyvale, CA

Role:  ETL LEAD (DATASTAGE)

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 6 Months

 

Essential Functions:

1. Translate business requirements using complex methods/models to determine appropriate data warehouse solutions and data needs

2. Provide leadership and guidance to technical teams on data warehouse, data and ETL architecture

3. Source system analysis and data profiling

4. Project manage smaller DW projects

5. Closely partner with other data analysts, data modelers/architects, ETL architects to ensure integrated design and framework

6. Research, identify, test, certify, and select technology products required for solution delivery.

7. Provide to management team the status updates, recommendations and strategy planning support.

8. Provide mentoring and training to other associates at the same level or below on processes and tools; and to handle more complex issues/requests.

9. Create documentation and processes for standards and best practices

10.Provide mentorship and training to other associates at the same level or below on processes and tools; and to handle complex issues/requests.

11. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the core areas within the EDW environment

               

•             Expertise in ETL concepts

•             Technical knowledge in Pentaho(plus), Data Stage etc
