Job: Software Engineer
Location: Lincoln, NE or Seattle, WA
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6+ Months
Rate: $50/hr

Visa Status: H1, EAD, GC
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Requirements analysis
o Develop software in C#.Net environment using structured coding practices
o Develop schemas and stored procedures in a MS SQL Server environment
o Analyze, test and install application updates
o Respond to inquiries from internal customers regarding errors, problems or questions
o Maintain legacy VB.NET and PHP applications
o Execute DML and DDL statements to production SQL servers in response to client needs
o Monitor ETL processes for performance issues and unreported errors and take action as required
o Document issues, resolutions, and code
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
o 4+ years development experience using an OO programming language (.Net preferred).
o 2+ years experience using C#.NET, ASP.NET, and relational databases (T-SQL preferred).
o Strong understanding of OO design principles.
o Background in database analysis/engineering is a plus.
o Experience building and supporting ETL processes is a plus.
o Demonstrated experience in initiating improvements to the quality of applications and processes.
o Knowledge of OLAP, MDX, and Data Warehousing principles helpful but not required.
o Knowledge of ASP.NET MVC helpful but not required.
o Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management principles helpful by not required.

o Excellent oral and written communication skills.
