We have an urgent requirement of Senior QA Tester with one of our direct client in WA.
NOTE: Minimum 8-9 year experience required. 3 references needs for submitting resume.
Contract Position: QA Tester
Location: 1 year
Location: Olympia, WA
Start Date: Jan 28th, 2013
Interview: Jan 17th, 2013
No. of Positions: 2
Experience required:
* Strong experience in designing, implementing and maintaining software test automation frameworks/solutions
* Proven skills in developing, documenting and implementing automation testing standards and guidelines
* Strong expertise in building complex automated test scripts using HP Quick Test Pro
* Strong expertise in developing performance test plans, creating and maintaining test scenarios/scripts for performance, load and stress testing using LoadRunner
* Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle processes and development methodologies
* Strong experience in application development using programming languages such as Java or C#
* In depth knowledge of the QA testing principles and strategies
* Strong experience in manual testing, developing test plans and writing test cases
* Strong experience in working with relational databases and backend testing using complex SQL queries
* Strong hands on experience with test management tool, HP ALM/Quality Center
* Experience in logging and tracking defects using IBM Rational ClearQuest
* Experience in working with version control systems such as SVN, VSS or TFS
* Ability to work independently as well as in a team, work closely with business, testing and development teams
* Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, communication and interpersonal skills
* Exceptional time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines
