Duration: 18+ months

Skills Needed:
Prior Mainframe Development Experience in COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM
Trace and document data flows by reading & analyzing J
Extracting and documenting Business Rules embedded in COBOL (CICS and Batch) programs, Data structures (VSAM/GDG/Flat File), third party utilities
Experience with Easytrieve/Dyl280/Culprit type programs, and other common mainframe data manipulation processests
Document Functional Specifications
Create a document describing the data transformation for every data element over a specific period of time (daily, weekly, monthly)
Defining and documenting existing Business Processes
Generate visually appealing diagrams using Visio that describe the data flow and transformations at a micro and macro level
Accurately prepare written correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional and engaging
