Build/Release Engineer

Position: Build/Release Engineer (Configuration management)

Location: Beaverton, OR

Duration: 6-12 Months
Must Have:

• Graduate with 5 (or) more years of experience working with environments, release operations, deploying and configuring enterprise-grade application test-infrastructure
• Suitable work visa not expiring before Feb/2014

Mandatory skills & experience:

• Experience working in access-controlled test infrastructure
• Extensive experience in performing releases, software deployment and configuring Java / J2EE applications
• Basic Java/J2EE application troubleshooting skills
• Experience in UNIX based systems along with shell (bash) scripting skills
• Experience in deploying to any of the Java Application/Middleware servers such as JBoss (or) WebSphere (or) Weblogic
• Experience in performing database change/release on any RDBMS, preferably Oracle database 10g (or) later
• Conceptual knowledge of software configuration management practices, especially on SVN
• Conceptual knowledge of incident and change management practices
• Working knowledge of agile software delivery
