 Role: Network Systems Engineers

Location: Rochester NY

Duration: 6+ months

Rate: $50/hr

 

·         B.S. Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent, with a minimum 5 years of related Network Engineering experience.

·         Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCIE certifications

·         Experience designing, installing, and troubleshooting an Enterprise network, including data, voice, and video.

·         Experience with Routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, etc). TCP/IP addressing/subnetting knowledge.

·         Experience with LAN switching concepts (Spanning tree, 802.1q, ISL, VTP, bridging concepts, etc.).

·         Advanced TCP/IP addressing/subnetting knowledge.

·         Detailed knowledge of Cisco router and switch configurations.

·         Experience with carrier telecommunications technologies such as T1/E1, copper and fiber interfaces

·         Knowledge of radio systems, HF, VHF, and UHF would be an advantage
