local to VA/DC/MD highly Preferred
 

Position: C++ Developer
Location: Reston, VA
Duration : 8 months contract

Required:
Very strong background in design and implementation of complex systems.
Expertise with C++ programming and object-oriented design and development.
Strong experience with Inter Process communications.
Strong Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, sockets, VOIP etc.
Very good knowledge of Design Patterns.
 Strong Knowledge of Linux or a POSIX O/S environment.
Good Experience with shell scripting
Knowledge of Satellite communication is a plus.
Knowledge of Cryptographic concepts (Symmetric Key, Assymetric Key, IPsec, TLS) is a plus.
Understanding of IP routing is a plus.
