Job Description:
Design and implement an OLAP solution in support of the delivery of an external facing Customer Dashboard. Data sourcing from Teradata.
OLAP solution will be hosted in SQL Server 2008 R2 with migration to SQL Server 2012. Overall framework includes SharePoint 2010.
Required experience:
Up to date on SQL skills:
SQL 2008 R2 at a minimum, SSAS a must
Exposure to SQL 2012 a plus
Experience with large scale DW solutions (SQL Server, Teradata)
Several years hands-on SQL Server development experience including:
DW schema design, implementation and optimization
SSIS ETL framework design, implementation and management
OLAP design and implementation
TSQL, MDX, DAX
Design, develop and deploy SSIS packages
Design, develop and deploy SSRS and PowerPivot solutions
SharePoint and .Net development experience is a plus
Demonstrated strong knowledge and proficiency in the following methodologies and concepts:
Dashboards and scorecards
Dimensional/ Star Schema design
ETL frameworks
Microsoft Certification – Business Intelligence Developer 2008
