Role: 
PeopleSoft FSCM SME

Duration: 12+ Months

Location: Pleasanton, CA

 

Relevant Expereince:

·         12 – 14+ Years of testing experience with PeopleSoft FSCM Project Costing, Asset Management and Grants Modules.

·         Project Management experience is a must.

·         Candidate should have project management experience of at least 2-3 projects.

·         Candidate should have good knowledge from PeopleSoft functional standpoint

·         Candidate should have 70% Functional and 30% Technical Knowledge.

·         Should have experience in Design, Development and execution of test scripts.

 

Mandatory Technical/Functional Skills:

·         Planning, Communication and Leadership skills necessary.

·         PeopleSoft Project Costing, Asset Management and Grants functional subject matter expertise is required.

·         Ability to review Functional and Technical solutions with Development and Solutions team and provide feedback.

·         Ability to drive a team of Sr. Testers and Jr. testers in onshore-offshore model to achieve results in a timebound manner.

·         Strong testing experience with web-based object-oriented architecture applications.

·         Strong knowledge of functional testing process, including test scope identification and test requirements management.

·         Should have service oriented and customer focused approach

·         Must have working experience in offshore/onsite model.

·         Need to have excellent communication skills (including English conversation skills), demonstrate excellent problem solving and critical thinking ability.

·         Interact with Functional and Technical Team to resolve issues & conflicts as needed.

·         Knowledge of requirement-gathering methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

·         Commitment to delivering a high quality work product.

 

Desired Technical/Functional Skills:

Knowledge of Project Costing, Asset Management and Grants Modules is desired.


Roles & Responsibilities:

·         Own end to end testing of PeopleSoft Project Costing, Asset Management and Grants Modules.

·         Subject Matter expert (SME) for PeopleSoft Project Costing, Asset Management and Grants Modules.

·         This role will involve working with the project team (functional and development teams) to plan and define test scope in order to develop test scenarios.

·         This role will report status regularly to the client Test Manager as well as identify and communicate of any issues or risks for the testing workstream on the project.

·         Collaborating with the onsite and offshore team members to ensure deliverables are met, knowledgebase is transferred and cross-training happens.

·         Coordinate with the testing team to conduct System testing, Integration testing and Regression testing.

 

Generic Managerial Skill:        

·         Proactive, self-starter with a good attitude.

·         Able to plan/track tasks/activities.

·         Report progress/challenges to Project Manager.

·         Coordinate with offshore to meet project delivery.
