ROLE: Manual Testers

Location: Camp Hill, PA

Duration: 12+ months

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• At least 3-4 years of end-to-end software testing experience including creating and executing test scenarios in addition to analyzing and clearly documenting all programming defects (software bugs) that are inconsistent with stated requirements and design specifications

• At least 2-3 years of experience participating in large-scale application testing efforts, including experience with all phases of testing: Unit, System, Integration, User Acceptance and Performance Testing

• At least 2 years of testing experience in different environments including one or more of the following client server, Services Oriented Architecture, Web based, and three tier architectures

• Experience with one or more of the following tools: Microsoft Office Suite, HP Quality Center, TopTeam, TFS, and QuickTestPro

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

• Ability to balance multiple task assignments

• Ability to coordinate across teams to gather information and resolve issues

• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment

• Ability to deliver under pressure

• Must be able to create SQL queries against an Oracle or MS SQL server database when necessary to verify business scenarios have been met.

• Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing system documentation, identifying test objectives, developing/updating test scenarios, and executing functional and regression test scenarios for a web-based application.

• A willingness to live and work in central Pennsylvania

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Testing Techniques - Understand the various approaches used in testing, including white-box, black-box, load testing, coverage testing and regression testing.

• Experience with methodologies including, but not limited to Agile, RUP, Lean or Waterfall

• Strong presentation skills including development and delivery of Microsoft PowerPoint presentations

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field

• An advanced degree in the area of specialization

• Knowledge of public sector, state government workers' compensation programs and applications
