Need GC/GC-EAD/TN/Citizens

 

Position: C# Programmer/Analyst

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Duration: 2 years Contract

 

Position Functions or Responsibilities:

Major responsibilities include performing business analysis, design, programming and testing activities for the development, maintenance and enhancements of the different components of the.

 

Minimum of 4 years experience with writing application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, programming, system testing, technical and user documentation, software conversions available to assist and/or lead in the design of program specifications and the implementation of software solutions.

 

Required Experience:

·         At least 3-5 years programming

·         Strong object oriented programming and design

·         Strong C# 3.0 and ASP.NET 3.5 programming experience

·         Strong experience with SQL (e.g. ADO.NET)

·         Experience with XML and Web Services

·         Good knowledge of .NET 3.5

·         Experience working with ASP.NET Ajax and Ajax Toolkit

·         Awareness of cutting-edge and emerging web interface technologies (e.g. Web 2.0 technologies)

·         Computer Science or related degree

·         Public sector experience with Financial

·         applications (Payroll) (Highly Desired)

 

Some exposure to the following:

·         Unit testing (e.g. nUnit/MSTest or similar tool)

·         Design patterns (e.g. Abstract Factory, Factory Method, Singleton, etc…)

·         Team Foundation Server 2010

·         Experience working on an agile team
